RIC – Regents International College is Bangkok’s the first and only authorized BTEC institution to provide
- BTEC Level 3 (UK National)
- BTEC Level 4 (HNC – Higher National Certificate) &
- BTEC Level 5 (HND – Higher National Diploma)
To study In Thailand at our Bangkok campus in Huai Khwang. All programmes are delivered in English Language.
On completion of their study in Thailand at RIC, students can progress to a final year of a bachelor degree programme (Level 6) with an International University placement, to complete their degree In a number of International Universities worldwide.
RIC is also partnering with Thai Universities to offer the UK BTEC Level 6 programme in English so students can study in Thailand. This will offer an alternative progression pathway for students wishing to stay and study in Thailand.
Programmes & Bachelor’s Degree Available
BTEC Level 3 in Business Management – 2 year Programme
BTEC Level 3 (UK National) is a 2 year programme studied as an alternative to/ or in conjunction with IB, UK “A” levels, HSC and M6 qualifications. BTEC National is an equivalent qualification to the qualifications mentioned above and completion of BTEC Level 3 qualification will allow progression into a Bachelor’s Degree.
BTEC Level 4 & 5 in Business Management (HNC & HND)– 2 year Programme
BTEC HNC & HND are 2 one year programmes which should be continuous for 2 years.BTEC Level 4 (HNC) is the first year of a Bachelor Degree and is studied to continue onto the HND which is the second year of a Bachelor Degree. On completion of the HNC & HND students can progress to the final year of their Bachelor Degree.

Entry Requirements
Entry requirements are similar for all BTEC qualifications only the entry age changes between BTEC Nationals and Higher Nationals
To be eligible for Level 3 National you must be
- 16 in the academic year which you are studying
- Have graduated IB diploma, A-level, GED or equivalent
- Be able to study abroad
- Have passed RIC admission tests
To be eligible for HNC & HND you must be
- Be of 17 years & 6 months of age
- For all the BTEC programmes you must
- Have graduated IB diploma, A-level, GED, HSC or equivalent
- Show a competent level of English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL etc)*
- Be able to study abroad /or study in Thailand
- Have passed RIC admission tests and interview
*In the absence of an official IELTS score, Regent’s provides its own English language testing.
*IELTS score are not required from students who have English as their first language.
*In countries who speak dual language (including English) RIC provide its own English language testing.
Entry will be dependent on acceptance onto the course by the Regent’s enrollment committee.
